Birding for Beginners
Written By Karen Overn
Rarely do people give birding a try for the first time and say: “Nah, that’s not for me.” Once you bring the amazing sights and sounds of birds into your conscious being, you will be blown away by how much you have been missing. We can start off as simply as “what makes a bird a bird” and “how to use binoculars.” In fact, I have quality Zeiss binoculars to share if you don’t own binoculars. One of the wonderful things about birding is you can’t do it wrong. There is no such thing as a silly question or too many questions. I have two young children so I don’t mind repeating myself over and over again.
